Mark MundayMark Munday, with nearly 30 years of design engineering and executive leadership, is a leading industry visionary in state-of-the art metering and technologies in the electric utilities sector. He is credited with the vision behind Elster’s EnergyAxis® System and advanced metering products and meter reading solutions across multi-utilities, including electric, water, and gas operations, using distributed intelligent networks for residential, commercial and industrial applications. He joined Westinghouse in 1981, which was acquired by ABB in 1990. He was Technology Manager for ABB Business Units (electricity, water, gas, and energy) in the U.S, South America, and Europe, responsible for ANSI and IEC products for 5 international business centers. His roles as Vice President and General Manager of ABB Electricity Metering positioned him to be President and CEO of Elster Electricity and Managing Director. Because of his vision and strong leadership role in Elster Group, he is responsible for electric and water metering in North America, and automated AMI systems for electric, water, and gas, worldwide.
